The singer of songs like Jee Karda, London Thumakda and Mundiya Toh Bachke, Labh Janjua was found dead a few days ago in his apartment in Mumbai. While the cause of his death is unknown, according to Labh’s neighbour, no one from the film industry came forward to help Labh’s wife out. In a statement given to Mumbai Mirror, the neighbour said –
It was unfortunate that initially, no one came forward to help his wife. When I went to his house in the morning, the police asked me to call his family and friends to complete legal formalities. While people instantly started tweeting about the tragedy, nobody answered my calls and nobody from the industry turned up. Even by 4 pm, only two of us were present at the hospital while a few of Janjua Sir’s friends joined later.
We hope his wife gets all the support she needs and the courage to keep going in this difficult time. RIP.
