This week, we attended a glamour-filled store opening of the new Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) jewelry store along Mumbai’s jewelry mile, Turner Road. This is TBZ’s 29th store and present at the opening was, of course, the gracious TBZ family: Shrikant & Bindu Zaveri, along with their daughters, Raashi and Binaisha. After being in the industry for 150 years, the company has now established itself as a traditional, legacy store that is still able to satisfy the needs of all of its’ versatile clientele. From elegant to cool, their collections cover all of it. To celebrate their 150 years, TBZ launched this new store along with a new collection that was seen on Karisma Kapoor at the event.
Karisma Kapoor wasn’t the only celebrity guest at the event. TBZ played host to a bunch of close friends and family, as well as a number of celebrities and socialites: some of the brand’s elite clientele. Take a look at this gallery to see who was there.

Can you give us 3 jewelry styling tips:
First, don’t put on everything you own. Put on one statement piece and keep the rest subtle. Second, every woman should own a pair of solitaires. Third, a woman should also own some beautiful yellow gold jewelry, like kangan. It should be traditional.
Do you decide your jewelry first or what you’re going to wear?
I choose my clothes first, but it depends on the occasion. If there’s a wedding, I may choose clothes according to my jewelry,
Diamonds or pearls? What kind of girl are you?
That’s a really tough one. I like both, but I’ll have to choose diamonds.
