When it comes to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, we always talk about how beautiful Raj and Simran’s relationship was, how iconic Amrish Puri‘s pigeon feeding antics was and how amazing the songs were. But I really believe that Simran was iconic, even on her own. Here’s why I think that way!

2) She had a full checklist of what she wanted
3) She got what she wanted (her euro trip)
4) She didn’t entertain Raj’s stupid attempts at flirting
5) Have you seen her bitch face?
6) She knows how to rock a party after a night of drinking
7) She was “whatevz” with Kuljeet, her chauvinistic fiance
8) She could practically FEEL Raj’s presence when he landed outside her house
9) Her belief in her love never faltered
10) She knew how to slyly sing to her bae even when the entire family was celebrating her engagement with someone else
11) She really got her way in the end
