Stars descended upon the beautiful red carpet at the Gateway Of India for the Jio MAMI: Mumbai Film Festival 2015, last night. MissMalini played host on the red carpet and asked all your favorite stars, from Homi Adajania to Katrina Kaif some revealing, hilarious, and overall fun questions.
Speaking of red carpet, the “fashos” at Team MissMalini kept an eye out last night to spot our favorite outfits on men and the women. Now, the best-dressed men list will be out soon, so let’s proceed to the divas that had us going gaga over their gowns and dresses last night. To begin our countdown, we’re still uhh-bsessed with Anamika Khanna‘s Spring-Summer 2015 collection and it looks like Katrina Kaif’s stylist, Tanya Ghavri is too. We aren’t complaining, the black and silver combination looks great on Kat, especially when paired with the Maheep Kapoor baubles. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, is wearing a green Isabel Sanchis gown. She looks absolutely adorable, but I’ve got to ask, is she prepping for Christmas already?
Masaba Gupta & Madhu Mantena hit the red carpet looking like a force to be reckoned with – power couple! She’s wearing ZARA and we love the print-on-print, as it stands out and why not choose a high-street brand?
The queen, Kangana Ranaut, hit it out of the park, yet again. She wore an Ashi Studio gown that cinches in perfectly at the waist and shows her worked out décolletage.
Kiran Rao played up her quirky personality in this contemporary, indo-western saree. It’s a Rashmi Varma outfit and is anyone else thinking ‘festive season inspiration’?
Here’s another power couple on last night’s red carpet. Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh make each other look better than they already look. Genelia is wearing a Tisha Saksena sharara. It’s simple, feminine, and all-black: anyone can carry it off!
Now let’s switch over from black to this all-white outfit… if the dress was any longer, I would title her the “snow queen.” I love this Gaurav Gupta dress on Lisa Ray.
Diana Penty stuns with red lips and a Nikhil Thampi Autumn-Winter 2015 gown.
Kalki Koechlin is wearing a mint green Tisha Saksena outfit too. Yet another Indo-Western outfit, hmm… maybe it’s becoming a celebrity red carpet go-to after sarees that is.
Last, but not least, Aditi Rao Hydari has been styled by Sanam Ratansi in a Nikhil Thampi skirt, a Namrata Joshipura top, and a Vero Moda belt. Now, that is how you put an outfit together! Kudos to her stylist.
Who’s your favorite on the red carpet? If I had to choose one… I would have to choose two because I can’t pick between Kangana and Katrina!
