Tank tops have taken a sexy turn and we love it.

There are so many trends out there in the world, but sometimes all you need is something simple. Something that will take you seamlessly from day to night, and it still stays on trend. One piece of clothing comes to mind – it’s the basic tank top, with a twist!

I know, how simple, how boring or maybe too sporty? But I stand by my tank tops. Nothing will ever beat the simplicity and perfection of a tank top and jeans. I can live in tank tops all year round – it’s one of the most versatile pieces that can be styled with absolutely any look.

Tank tops these days are available in a lot of styles, but recently the cut-off tank top has been the most talked about. They usually have bigger armholes, which adds a bit of sexiness to your look. You could choose to wear fun sports bras under these tanks like Pocket Stylist, or you could wear a bikini top or even a simple black lace bra. Whichever you choose, styling a tank top isn’t rocket science.

Whether it’s high or low waisted skirts, culottes or trousers, high waisted denims or mom jeans – they work with anything. In 2015, tank tops made a huge comeback. Retail chains are packed with so many styles that it’s impossible to choose. Considering the number of times you’re going to wear it, these babies are practically free! I’ve put together a few more looks to prove that cut-off tanks are here to stay.

For a more polished look, go for silky flowy fabrics with or without prints or textures. You can tuck them in your maxi skirt, pencil skirt or trousers. Complete the look with a hot pair of heels & statement necklaces; a blazer and a big bag to the office; or a clutch when you’re going out to dinner.
