Despite the hordes of makeup that I collect at home, receive in the mail, and just generally obsess over on a daily basis, it’s not everyday that I come across an entire collection that makes me so happy. Yes, makeup feeds my soul, makeup junkies… put yo’ hands in the air! Anyway, so Chambor just launched the Orosa range. While I’ve been a fan of their staples, like the Light & Sheer Skin Highlighter and the Infinite Lash Lengthening Mascara, this luxury Orosa range just gave my vanity an upgrade. This range is a visual treat, easy-to-use, and it’s got your basics covered, in fact, it gives you more than just color. The lipsticks, eyeshadow sticks, eyeliners, and foundations provide luxury and care for your face.

The Lips

There are 24 diverse shades of the Lip Perfection lipstick, covering everything from the trendy wine and marsala to baby pinks and peaches. These shades encompass your browns, purples, reds, oranges, and pinks… literally. I drop a new one in my bag everyday, depending on my mood. Of course, you can also play with mixing colors and nothing allows you to do that better than an easy-to-blend texture and wide range of colors. Check out these swatches.

Here’s how the various colors look as swatches, so pretty much, you get exactly what you see. A little goes a long way, which means this has a major color payoff. The products are hydrating to your lips, making them one of the few products out there to actually benefit you in the long run as it beautifies you in the moment. Build it up for a bold lip or blend it out for a hint of any color!

The Skin

Their pore minimizing, Skin Fusion Matte Foundations come in 4 different shades that give a matte finish and guess what? They don’t clog your pores! Their lightest shade has a yellow tone and their darkest shade has an orange tone, which is great to cover dark spots. I always mix and match colors, which is why I’m keeping all 4, depending what my skin needs at the moment.

The lightest, yellow-y shade also works well as a highlighter by itself. If I want a more dewy finish to my foundation, I add a pump of the Light & Sheer Skin Highlighter as an illuminating factor to my foundation. So, this foundation is pretty diverse, offers medium coverage (not too cakey), and lasts for hours.

The Eyes

Sculpt, smoke, and highlight your eyes with Chambor Orosa’s Sculpting Eyeshadow sticks. They also come in 4 shades that are easy to work with and aren’t too dark, and so, they are ideal for a first time eyeshadow enthusiast. You can go in with just one color or you can mix a bunch. I, personally, love the silver-shimmer shade to use in the inner corner of my eyes or in my waterline to make my eyes look bigger. The brown is another favorite that I use to smoke out my crease for more dimension to the eyes.

The Defining 10H Eyeliner Pencils work as both liner and kohl. They’re filled with Vitamin C to give the eyes the required care. This liner comes in 2 shades, a black and a deep blue. It’s long-lasting, as kohl should be, and give off an intense color payoff.

Pretty stuff, right? If you want to see how we used these products to create a festive Diwali look, stay tuned this Saturday! For more information, check out Chambor on Facebook and Instagram.
