Tuesday morning, the boss lady, MissMalini and I, headed to Café Zoe in Mumbai for the launch of a new product by one of the oldest, most trusted makeup brands this country knows: Avon. Avon is renowned worldwide for its ‘beauty with a purpose’ and that’s exactly what their brand ambassador Asin Thottumkal loves about her association. Together, she and MissMalini, launched their newest, most fabulous kohl pencil: The Big ‘N Daring kajal, a desi girl favorite. It has swiftly become one of my favorites and sits in my little vanity pouch all day long.

At the launch, models walked the ramp, showcasing an array of makeup looks that are achievable with just kohl. In fact, I’ve tried out a few myself with celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni and we both agree, Avon’s coolest new kohl pencil glides on like a dream and lasts up to 12 hours!
But I digress, let’s get back to the show, shall we? We munch on appetizers as MissMalini and Asin took to the stage. They engaged in a little Q&A session on beauty and we caught the whole thing on camera. ICYMI: here goes.
