While Children’s Day may be about the kids, it’s really also a tribute to all those mothers out there who selflessly devote themselves to ensure their children get the best possible lives they can. Singer Akriti Kakkar – who you’ll know for songs like Saturday Saturday and Iski Uski – recognises this, and as a result, recently wrote, composed and sung a song for all the mothers out there.
It’s titled Amma, and the video features 10 celebrities sharing some special moments with their mothers. The list of celebrities includes Akriti herself, her singer sisters Prakriti (Boss, Bheegh Loon) and Sukriti (Pehli Baar), and others like Shaan, Manali Jagtap, Abhijeet Sawant, Raghav Sachar, Siddharth Mahadevan, Archana Pania, and Anusha Mani.
