Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had a lot of things that were right in your face, like the fort where prince Vijay Singh is recuperating is very obviously named – Royal Fort. And Sonam Kapoor‘s sanskari orgasm was so evident in Jalte Diye that we’re sure ladies everywhere will sing one line of this song to give their partners a hint that they’re in the mood for some sexy-time. But there were a few things you probably didn’t notice in this Diwali blockbuster! Find out what they are.

1) Mughal-e-Azam reference

The sheesh mahal, the feather being used as foreplay in Jalte Diye was a homage to Dilip Kumar and Madhubala‘s romance in Mughal-e-Azam.

Only Dilip saab used the feather to stroke Madhubala’s face, whereas Sonam asked Salman to write stuff on her back. What could he possibly be writing? I tried hard to decipher that but couldn’t.

2) Harshaali Malhotra’s appearance

It’s a blink and miss appearance, but in a scene with the two step-sisters played by Swara Bhaskar and Aashika Bhatia are consoling each other, there’s a big picture of their mother and right below that is a small framed photograph of little Munni from Bajrangi Bhaijaan! I’m assuming she played the younger version of Rajkumari Radhika.

3) Desi Game Of Thrones

Many people noticed this one though. In the scene before the football song, there are a few band members practicing for Prem’s coronation. The band then begins to play the Game Of Thrones theme. Is this what Neil Nitin Mukesh meant when he said he might appear in GOT?

4) Greg Powell (from UK)

The infamous stuntman Greg Powell (who according to Neil, got him the role in Game Of Thrones, but surprise surprise, he wasn’t even a part of the show) was credited as ‘Greg Powell from UK‘ in the opening credits. Because that makes a difference.

5) No Alok Nath, Reema Lagoo and Mohnish Behl in this one!

The holy trinity of Mohnish Bahl, Alok Nath and Reema Lagoo were not there in this movie. I know Reema wasn’t there in Vivah either, but at least the other two were. I also know that Monish and Alok weren’t in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, but Reema was! But a movie where none of these three have roles to play is something I’m sure everyone noticed but are not talking about and that’s making me very sad.
