Looks like Mumbai is immune to winter weather this season, since it doesn’t seem to have gotten cooler whatsoever… but I’ll choose to ignore that. I just got back from Bangalore last evening and the weather was nippy. It felt great and I know that winter is hitting a lot of you lucky people already. So, what’s better than some outfit inspo from Deepika Padukone? This gorgeous lady has been traveling up and down for Tamasha promotions and she’s bundled up and ready for the winter that’s coming… or already here. Remember: you can add or remove layers accordingly.
Shaleena Nathani styled her in an Alexander Wang maxi, with a bomber jacket by Anushka Khanna. A bomber jacket is a cute and informal addition to a maxi that’ll keep you warm. Her belt is from Urban Outfitters and a great addition to the outfit as it gives the dress shape. If you’re wearing a longer sweater on top, then you can belt your dress over the sweater. The sandals are from Dune London, an informal and neutral addition to the look. You can also add white sneakers or simple boots to the mix if you want to keep your feet warm.

With this outfit, Shaleena has Deepika channeling something between military chic and safari fierce! Since the Zara trench is being worn as a dress, you can always layer it on top of another outfit. Deepika is wearing a Zara lace underskirt for some layering. The belt, also from Zara looks perfect with the trench, whether it’s worn as a dress or not.
