Kal Ho Naa Ho completes 12 years today, and that’s making me feel very old – not least because I can clearly remember the first time I watched it (sobbing into a napkin). But more than that, I think it’s because there are so many references from the movie that I still use on a daily basis, so it’s incredible to realise that this is actually 12 years old… when it still feels like such a real, relevant part of today’s pop-culture.
It’s amongst life’s greatest regrets that I’ve not been able to dance to this at anyone’s Sangeet. But let’s just say I still listen to this song on the reg, and if I ever do get a chance to dance to it – it’s happening.
Still know all the words tbh.
