Kylie Jenner is this month’s cover star for Interview Magazine, in which she’s been interviewed by the senior editor, Chris Wallace. The photoshoot, to go along with the interview, is something Kylie’s never done before. It’s creative, it’s artistic, crazy, and not even human. Check her out, looking like a life-sized doll, in these pictures.

The interview goes hand-in-hand with the photoshoot, photographed by Steve Klein, in which Kylie looks strategically placed in uncomfortable positions. Sometimes, she looks like she’s in command, sometimes she’s handicapped, and sometime she’s bending over. The beautifully shot pictures tell the story of a teenager in the limelight: the scrutiny, the highs, the lows, and it comes with a realization of how much we don’t really know her. In fact, she’s still evolving and growing up. She probably doesn’t know herself. You can read the full interview here, where she talks about her growth, business, beauty, fashion, and who she really is. It’s definitely worth the read, whether you’re a fan or not. Like the photoshoot, the lengthy interview is also, tastefully done.

The shoot also sparked a debate amongst fans and non-fans, alike. Not everyone is happy with the magazine and Kylie’s decision to pose in a wheelchair as it was offensive to those working for causes regarding, or those who have, disabilities. Looks like ‘kontroversy’ never leaves the ‘klan.’ But, the magazine is defending their art form that wasn’t meant to be so literal. Kylie, on the other hand, hasn’t said much.
