Kim Kardashian West recently released yet another, easy-to-follow makeup tutorial that’s all about contouring the eye. Yup, the kontour queen knows how to make those blinkers look sharp, bright, and big! And really, it’s so much easier than a smoke eye. If you don’t have time for a full, heavy eye look… then just opt for this technique and people will definitely take notice. The tutorial is on her app and website, but we’ve got the scoop right here. Makeup artist, Etienne Ortega, demonstrates this technique on the app and it looks like this is his favorite look for the Kardashian sisters. Take a look at Khloé Kardashian with the same look.

Ettiene used the Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Contour palette. Here’s how you can get the look: apply a matte, champagne colored shadow all over your eye. Then, take a matte brown in a medium color and use a small, pencil brush to create a line along your crease. Use a fluffy, blending brush to blend and blur the line. Then, add a white shadow all over your lid to make your lids stand out. You can add some to highlight your brow bone as well, using a small brush. Ettiene lines the outer corner of Kim’s lower lash line with the same brown that he used in the crease. He smokes it out slightly to create a cat shape. He goes over her lashes, lower and upper lashes, with two coats of L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black. If you don’t have Kardashian lashes, feel free to use falsies, as it will only add more statement to your eyes. To finish the look, Ettiene adds the Makeup Forever Matte White Pencil inside her lower lash line. Boom! You’ve got amazing, big, statement eyes.
