I’m gonna say it: romantic songs – probably more than any other – are my jam. There’s just something about playing that perfect track and using it as the background for all your daydreams. Luckily, 2015 didn’t disappoint in this department: we got a lot of great tracks, ranging from those that will make you want to dance to those that’ll make you want to cry. 1) Tu Hai Ki Nahin – Roy
The film may have been a washout, but let’s just agree the soundtrack was pretty ace!
2) Jeena Jeena – Badlapur
The lyrics are just beautiful.
3) Moh Moh – Dum Laga Ke Haisha
Both versions of this song are great, but my favourite would have to be the female one.
4) Teri Meri Kahaani – Gabbar Is Back
This one’s an earworm for sure.
5) Pehli Baar – Dil Dhadakne Do
Can play this one loud all day, every day!
6) Sun Saathiya – ABCD2
I remember being obsessed with this track when it first came out – wouldn’t listen to anything else for weeks.
7) Tu Chahiye – Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Gorgeous, gorgeous song.
8) Main Hoon Hero Tera – Hero
This is one of those songs that just don’t get out of your head.
9) Khoya Khoya – Hero
Another one from Hero!
10) Lip To Lip – Katti Batti
This video is the cutest. Make sure to watch it now if you haven’t yet!
11) Heeriye – Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2
This list wouldn’t be complete without a Mohit Chauhan special, would it?
12) Nazdeekiyan – Shaandaar
Doesn’t this song make you want your own fairytale?
13) Jalte Diye – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Yeah, we laughed at this song when it first came out, too. And again while watching the film. But once it’s in your head… it’s not getting out.
14) Agar Tum Saath Ho – Tamasha
Probably my favourite from the year. Rahman, Imtiaz Ali, Arijit Singh? Count me in.
15) Wajah Tum Ho – Hate Story 3
This one became an instant favourite!
16) Tumhe Apna Banane Ka
The entire Hate Story 3 album is incredibly popular.
17) Gerua – Dilwale
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are back! How could this one not make the list? 🙂
