1) Pitchers
TVF’s Pitchers is easily one of the best original web-series to have come from India. Funny, touching and most importantly – relatable. Pitchers is primarily about a group of four men who quit their jobs and start their own company. All the characters have been given equal footing and ‘tu beer hai‘ has become one of the most famous phrases of 2015. Start watching the series at the earliest, thank me later!
2) Bang Baaja Baarat
We’re totally digging YRF’s foray into web content if they keep producing awesome stuff like Bang Baaja Baaraat. A contemporary romance that doesn’t shy away from showing what real relationships are like, BBB hits the right spot and there are many scenes which will make you say – OMG that’s totally me!
3) Permanent Roommates
Another gem by TVF, Permanent Roommates is a story about a three year long-distance relationship of Tanya and Mikesh and a surprise proposal that changes everything.
4) Man’s World
YRF and TVF are totally ruling the web-series market in India na? Man’s World is another cool series from the YRF stable that revolves around a man being treated like a woman. Yep, this may sound like the plot of Antra Mali‘s (remember her?) movie, Mr Ya Miss, but it’s really not.
5) Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls at the Party
Amy Poelher‘s Smart Girls at the Party is a must watch. That’s all.
6) Baked
Scoopwhoop’s web-series Baked is very Delhi Belly-isque (in their own words) and a good show to binge-watch. The show revolves around three Delhi University students and it’s really, really funny.
7) Love Bytes
Sony LIV’s awesome show on a couple in a live-in relationship is one of the most real depictions of love I’ve ever seen. Every story ends with a happily ever after, but Abhishek and Ananya take it further from there!
8) On Air With AIB
You need no convincing to watch this one!
