That just happened.
CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, just spent two days in Delhi! Best part: We were able to join his live session with Harsha Bhogle yesterday at the Shri Ram College of Commerce. Of course, we walked away absolutely inspired (and still fan-girling!), but we also had a lot of laughs. The tech guru rocked his rapid fire round of questions… Here are a few reactions we had to share!
Q. When did you buy your first phone?
Q. How many smartphones do you have?
Sundar: I do a lot of testing, so I have about 20 to 30 phones actually.
Q. How much did you score in Class 12?
Sundar: Not enough to get into Shri Ram College of Commerce!
Q. How important are Class 12 scores?
Sundar: There are too many teachers in the room for me to answer that question ;)
Q. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
Sundar: A cricketer, of course!
Rapid fire questions and selfies aside, we got to know a lot more about Sundar, and his secret sauce to success… Be creative, take risks, learn by doing and don’t be afraid to fail. In his words, “work with people who make you insecure, don’t get comfortable.” And as Harsha aptly said to the 2600 students gathered there, “We talk, you matter.”
