2015 has been a good year for Bollywood. Concept driven movies have done well all our actors have upped their game and how! On that note, check out our list of top 15 Bollywood actors who totally kicked ass this year.
Akshay Kumar gave Bollywood one of its best movies of 2015 – Baby. His performance was everything this movie needed. And his action sequences were splendid. As always!
Nawazuddin Siddiqui was the scene-stealer in both his big releases – Badlapur and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and it’s not a small task to scene a steal from sabki aan, sabki shaan, sabka ek bhaijaan okay!
I know I know, Bhumi Pednekar was totally the breakout performance of this year. But her role wouldn’t stand out if she didn’t have the strong support of Ayushmann Khurranna. His uneducated and uncouth Prem was the perfect foil to Bhumi’s intelligent and cultured Sandhya.
Um, he’s Mr. Bachchan, do I really have to elaborate?
Be it the man-child Kabir Mehra in Dil Dhadakne Do or the Maratha Warrior Peshwa Bajirao, Ranveer Singh has easily established himself as one of the best actors we have in Bollywood. How can one feature in such different movies and pull off such different roles with so much elan is something Ranveer should explain to me personally. Soon.
What a year this man has had! He stood out in Piku (with performers like Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone giving him company). He was easily the best part about Talvar (and that movie had many good parts), he had a substantial part in one the world’s top grossing movies – Jurassic World AND he did an AIB video, making him easily the coolest actor ever!
Main Aur Charles did not set the box-office on fire, but Randeep Hooda definitely set my heart on fire!
What a movie, what an actor, what a comeback!
After a really long time, I saw a Salman Khan movie that really touched my heart. Salman took a break form his typical macho man avatar and took on the mantle of a sensitive and strong Pawan Kumar with ease. His chemistry with the adorable Munni was enough to choke us all up.
Shah Rukh Khan and his stubble have more personality than half of Bollywood. In Dilwale, he proved yet again that he’s usually the best part of a movie, despite the film having an ensemble cast.
These were my favourites of 2015, have any more actors to add? Tell us in the comments below.
