Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whose last release Bajirao Mastani has garnering accolades but the filmmaker has dismissed rumours of signing Ranveer Singh for the remake of Subhash Ghai‘s movie, Khalnayak. He clarified this rumour at the Renault Sony Guild Awards 2015 –

On the positive response Bajirao Mastani has received, here’s what he said –
We have worked really hard on this film so it feels really good to get appreciated. The team had worked really hard on this film.
But Ranveer and Sanjay should totally do a movie again though!
