Super sad news pouring in. Alan Rickman, one of the most-loved British actors in recent times, passed away in London at the age of 69. The actor had been suffering from cancer.
While he has an impressive filmography under his belt – Love Actually, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Sense and Sensibility, etc – he’s probably currently known most as Professor Snape from the Harry Potter series.
Rickman still has a movie coming up, Eye in the Sky, which is currently in post-production. He has also lent his voice to the upcoming Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Sad news, but Alan Rickman’s contribution to the cinema will definitely be remembered. Always.
