Colors channel’s popular TV show Naagin is all set to go off air on May 14th! This comes across as quite a shock because the show has been getting great TRPs consistently. But the real story according to IndiaToday.com is that the serial was meant to be on-air for a limited amount of time, and the makers are already planning a second season with talks of Gurmeet Choudhary playing the lead. A source gave more details to India Forums about it –
The show was already a finite series and was supposed to go off air in January but due to its immense popularity and amazing response, the show got extended till May.
Even the lead actor, Arjun Bijlani told the portal –
I have no clue about the last on-air date but the show was a finite series. Hence, it was anyway supposed to go off air.
Naagin stars Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan and Arjun Bijlani and we’re sure fans will be happy to see the show come back with a bang in its next season!
