I often travel by Ola cabs and I’ve never had any bad experience with them. *Touch wood* In fact, I’ve come across some really nice and helpful drivers during my journeys in Mumbai, Bangalore and even Kolkata. On several occasions, I’ve had to cancel my bookings and that never caused me any trouble either. However, a Bangalore woman recently had a bitter experience on her birthday when she cancelled her Ola booking. When the driver tried to reach her after the cancellation, she didn’t answer the call and then she received a really nasty message. She soon took to Twitter to express her disgust and disappointment.
Had to cancel my cab 2 mins after booking yesterday because of an issue. This is how @Olacabs drivers respond to you. pic.twitter.com/b5F2Beoqwy

@fraudpunju @Olacabs seriously! You have no idea how glad I am I didn’t actually take this cab specially late night.

@tushardave15@Olacabs I’m only worried about backlash from the driver since ola said they’re terminating his contract

I’m glad that Ola took an action quite promptly and also ensured the safety of the woman.
@Micha_Alvez We advise you to block his number, the driver is also made aware of the legal implications. We appreciate your patience.

We hope no one else has to go through something like this in the future.
