From the time Madhubala went off air, I’ve been praying for Vivian Dsena‘s comeback on Indian television. Yes, we saw him dance his way through Jhalak Dikhla Ja 8, but that wasn’t anything like him romancing Dhrashti Dhami onscreen, was it now?
Anyway, my prayers have been answered! Vivian is making a comeback on television with Colors TV‘s new show, Gurdaspur. From what we hear, the show focuses on the relationship of a chacha and bhatija from a town in Punjab. And yes, the makers are looking for the female lead who will play Vivian’s love interest! Whoever that is going to be, I just hope the lead pair is able to recreate the RK-Madhubala magic.
Sudesh Berry, Begusarai‘s Manmohan Thakur, has been finalized to play the role of the chacha. He confirmed the news to TellyChakkar and shared his excitement about his new stint:
