When it comes to accessories, we desi girls *know* jewellery. We’ve got a handle on shoes and bags too. But one thing our western counterparts have figured out is how to pull off the hat. Thankfully, we spotted three great looks at the Nylon Magazine Muses And Music Party that you can get some inspiration from. These stars were out for some pre-Grammy fun, as is obvious from their fashion choices.

Musician ZZ Ward shows you that covering up can be as fashionable as baring it all, and she gives this monochrome skirt and top combo just the right amount of edge with the coolest hat ever.

Collett Carr gets sassy with her style

Artist Collett Carr also opted for a skirt and blouse combo, but got super quirky with her printed skirt and knee high boots. Goes well with the cutesy Peter Pan collar we think. And again, another way to pair the cute hat.

Pollyanna McIntosh mixes it up

We totally dig Scottish actress Pollyanna McIntosh‘s style. It’s in the space between bohemian and hipster and even though you can’t quite put it in a box, you know she’s looking fab. And her blue hat matches the sequin tassels. Nice touch!

We would love to see this trend catch up and run wild. How about you guys?
