Sonam Kapoor is not one to mince her words. In her interview with Film Companion, Anupama Chopra recalled that the first time they spoke about Neerja was at Cannes when Sonam was wearing a dress but had bruises all over. Sonam laughed and told the story!
She said:
Can you imagine? I’d come straight from Neerja’s shoot at Cannes and over there they were like “what happened to you?” They thought I was in an abusive relationship or something. I was like listen I don’t have a boyfriend! It’s just a film set.
