The bold lip trend has apparently travelled across from NYFW and made it’s strong presence felt at LFW too! Although differing in texture and shade, one thing stayed consistent and that was the boldness.
A number of shows featured darker shades at NYFW, like Marc Jacobs, Rihanna‘s Fenty X Puma and Rodarte, and more recently at LFW. The dramatic, dark lip is surely proving to be something to write home about.
That glossy sheen on the dark burgundy lip at the Sibling London show was very glam and definitely popped against the bright colours showcased in the collection.
J JS Lee by Jackie JS Lee showed a spectrum of deep pinks, to plum reds and deep wines. It was a showcase of some rich and delicious colour and we totally loved it.
Gareth Pugh‘s fashion show had a glossy rouge noir that really packed a punch. It’s a very assertive look that took on the idea of a strong authoritative woman. POW!
Mary Katrantzou‘s show two days ago at LFW saw a matte cherry lip on the runway that is bound to take the beauty world by storm.
There was a riot of bold colour at the Charlotte Olympia show. But between all the bright red and purple, the wine was the most dramatic by far!
