Athiya Shetty attended the Asia Spa Awards yesterday wearing a gorgeous gown styled by Ami Patel, of course. Although we’ve been seeing a lot of monochrome of late, this outfit stands out of the crowd in many ways. It’s as if the gown itself wants to make a statement about it not being just another black and white number. Jade Couture by Monica & Karishma are the heart behind this outfit and we must say that they’ve really outdone themselves.
The heavy white work on the top half of this gown gives the look texture and the bare shoulders lend a hint of sexy that really works. The long, sheer jacket with a print different motifs and subtle black piping is our favourite part of the whole ensemble, for sure!
Athiya also killed it with her makeup. Winged eyeliner and baby pink lip colour #FTW. And her side-swept loose waves although simple, are an effective way to wear your hair when you want to show off your bare shoulders!
