Nimrat Kaur‘s recent short film with Tahir Bhasin, The Road Trip has received an overwhelming response from all quarters. And her last Bollywood release, Airlift was also a hit. Naturally, the actress is currently riding on success and that was reason enough for her to have a grand birthday party on her 34th birthday yesterday. But she spent the day in solitude instead.
Nimrat has commenced shooting for the second season of M Night Shyamalan‘s Wayward Pines and therefore, is staying in Vancouver at the moment. She told Mumbai Mirror:
It has been raining heavily since I landed here. I’m looking for an apartment so I was house-hunting even on my birthday. This is the first time I’m ringing it in away from my family and friends and it’s, well different. But I can’t wait to explore the Surrey part of Vancouver where there are lots of Indians, I’ve heard you get amazing chhole bhature there and I really miss desi khana.
Aww. She also shared these two photographs on her birthday.
What I will call home for the next few months….with the misty snowed peaks for a view and gusty crisp wind for my ambient sounds. My most unique birthday to date…was spent moving in ! And all your love and wishes spread all over for my house warming. Thank you every single one of you for your affections and making me a part of your life . To say that I'm blessed and grateful is an understatement…
