In September, I had written an open letter to all the girls out there who are trying to lose weight. And that’s exactly when I had also decided to embrace a healthier lifestyle and start working towards reaching my goal weight. I did lose a few pounds here and there. But then I gained it all back along with a few extra kilos. Why? Because I lack the will power to stick to any fitness regime and I always start slacking after a couple of weeks. Also, because Rashmi, Priyam, Shreemi and Aayushi (in that order) keep checking out new eateries in the city and get yummy food delivered at MM HQ. And I get tempted and end up joining them more often than not. :(
So as usual, I was stalking some celebrity fitness experts on Instagram to get some motivation and I came across this post by Yasmin Karachiwala.
The Creative Head of Walkwater Media’s film production department, Aarti Shetty has assisted some of the biggest directors in the industry in the past. She has worked with Karan Johar in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Ram Gopal Varma in Bhoot and Shimit Amin in Ab Tak Chappan. And along with her erratic work schedule, she has also managed to stick to her fitness routine diligently! That’s applaud-worthy! Here’s a message that Aarti gave out to everyone who wishes to lose weight or simply get fitter.
It will hurt, it will take time. It will require dedication. It will require will power. There will be temptation but I promise,when you are closer to your goal it will be worth it. Dreams are for free, goals have a cost. 55kgs down n still counting. Motivate yourself everyday
