And it finally comes to an end. Five days at Amazon India Fashion Week culminated last evening with a star-studded show. Péro, Anju Modi, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Rahul Mishra, Abraham & Thakore and others came together to close the season, while Gauri & Nainika, Dolly J, Joy Mitra and a few others showcased their collections earlier in the day. Here are some of our favourites.
The first and only off-site show of the season, Gauri & Nainika displayed their collection on the runway over brunch. As the attendees sipped on cocktails at The Claridges, the models strutted past in gorgeous dresses and gowns – all in the duo’s signature styles. Their printed florals were made in collaboration with American artist, Travis Bruce Black.
Jumpsuits and dresses from Dolly J’s collection came with butterfly prints and and gold foil, giving it an Indian touch.
Royal purple, green and yellow came in quilted patterns, oversized silhouettes and a bomber jacket every one will love!
High on shine, Kartikeya’s collection came full with lace, leather, sheer panels and sequins accentuating every outfit.
A traditional collection with a twist, Joy Mitra created gold embroidered separates that can easily be reused, re-worn and mixed in as many ways as you can imagine!
Soltee by Sulakshana Monga presented pristine whites, sparking blacks and shimmering nudes in the form of dresses, gowns and jumpsuits.
