I may have different opinions on different days about the institution of marriage, but I know one thing for sure – I want a father-in-law like Pankaj Kapur. In a recent interview by IANS, he was asked about all the speculation that surrounds his daughter-in-law Mira Kapoor.
Among other things, there’s been a lot of interest in her alleged Bollywood debut, as fans would love to see her on the big screen; perhaps with hubby Shahid Kapoor! While Shahid has incessantly denied these reports and gone on to say stuff like “Mira is my wife, not an actress”, Pankaj sir chooses to have a more relaxed attitude about it.
He said:
It is her life. She can do what she wants to do. Why should I have anything to do with that? It is between her and her husband. She is a child to me. Why would I have any objections? For me, she can do what she wants to do and I am there to support.
