Singer Kesha has sadly been in the news due to her legal battle with her music producer Dr. Luke. Luke has an exclusive contract with the singer that prevents her from creating music with any other producers. In an Instagram post, Kesha revealed she was asked to keep her rape a secret in order to get out of the contract she had with the music producer who allegedly raped and abused her for years.
Kesha had taken Dr. Luke to court earlier this year, where the Judge denied Kesha’s request for an injunction, stating that releasing the singer from the contract would cause irreparable damage to the record label. The music label pledged to allow Kesha to work with other producers. Hope the matter is resolved soon!
