So Aashiqui 3 is indeed happening – with a stellar cast, no less!
Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt are playing the leads in the third installment of this successful franchise, and if their infectious chemistry on-screen and off it is anything to go by, fans are in for a treat.
Sid confirmed the news to TOI, saying:
Scripting is in progress but it should be up and running next year. Aashiqui 2 had lots of love, angst and music. I’m looking forward to more.
Sid also opened up about making a singing debut in the movie and also shared that he’s learning to play the guitar for his role.
This kind of prep is a given today. I have to get rhythm in my voice and fingers.
So is Alia going to turn teacher for Sid? *wink wink*
I hope so and if I can match up to her talent, maybe we could sing a duet, that would be a first for an actor and actress who’ve debuted together.
