Sonali Bendre attended a Surf Excel event wearing the Chola by Sohaya Misra, the new label that’s taken the Indian fashion scene by storm. Neha Dhupia is a huge fan of her label and many more celebrities, like Sonam Kapoor are joining in in appreciation of Sohaya’s anti-fit, drapey, but non-boxy style.
Summer calls for not-too-tight, flowy clothing in fabrics that are airy, especially when you live in the tropics, and Sohaya’s brand of clothing fits the bill to the T. Sonali’s long, wide-striped, shirt dress is a perfect example of clothes that let you breathe. She completed her with a Chloé bag and fun, orange kohlapuris. And in keeping with the whole Indo-western vibe, she accessorised with Amrapali jewellery. With that braided hairstyle to boot, she’s clearly killing this whole look.
