The Easy-Breezy Way To Wear Your Summer Formals This Season

The one thing every girl wants to wear this summer is something fuss-free. The outfit just needs to be free. It shouldn’t stick to any part of your body, it should feature enough ventilation and basically be easy-breezy summer squeezy – if you know what I mean. Sheefa (Style Stash, previously known as The KASH Girl) and I decided to find four outfits that would work for any formal event this season – and they’re all comfy to boot!

The bright, colourful options

The only way to wear something that features both, a slit and a cold-shoulder, is if the outfit is full-sleeved – always maintain the balance. Sheefa wore her dress with a pair of juttis and it can’t get more comfortable than that, can it? A fun summer dress could be another option. Bell sleeves are back, so pick a dress that features sheer bell sleeves and a whole lot of print on white. Since it stops at the knees, that keeps things airy all day long.

The subtle, but elegant option

Sundowners will be a big part of all your summer parties and you definitely need an ankle-length outfit or two hanging in your closet. I’m wearing an ankle-length top that features high slits on both sides, with denim shorts underneath. You could wear it with flats for a day event too. Sheefa’s all-over embroidered dress features embellishments on the shoulder and pocket, making it great for the night as well.

White is the coolest (literally and figuratively) option for summer and once that forms the base of your look, you can’t go wrong.
