Do you remember Sagarika Ghatge aka Preeti Sabharwal from Chak De! India? She stood out because of her stunning performance in the movie. She went on to star in movies like Fox with Arjun Rampal and Rush with Emraan Hashmi. She was also a contestant in the season six of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
She also tried her hand successfully at regional cinema and starred in the Marathi movie Premachi Goshta and Punjabi movie Dildariyaan. Now, she is back at the Bollywood scene with her latest movie Irada alongside Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah.
She told PTI:
Aparna (Singh) got in touch with me because she had seen Chak De and said she needed somebody like that character who is strong, independent and voices her opinion. That is how I came on board for the film (Irada).
The shooting for Irada is finally over and it will release later this year.
