Many celebrities have, in the past, taken a break from work to go abroad and study something. Preity Zinta did a business course, Kangana Ranaut did a filmmaking course, and now Shilpa Shetty is embarking on a new adventure too – she’ll be taking a crash course in diet, health and nutrition at a university in London.
The actress/businesswoman has co-authored a book on nutrition and launched her own Yoga DVDs, and now she’s planning on taking this empire further by exploring more in the health and fitness space. She wants to educate herself in the field more, as she wants to look into more business opportunities in that space.
The course is 3 weeks long, and will give Shilpa knowledge on new workouts, super foods, the science behind eating correctly eating and metabolism.
Here’s what Shilpa had to say:
So many people have reached out to me after reading the book and told me how it has changed their life which was the reason I authored it. Fitness has always been a passion and there is so much more to learn… I am constantly seeking oppurtunities to explore more in the health and fitness space.
