I am a huge Zoya Akhtar fan. She is strong, funny, cool and tells stories that touch lives. When I happened to meet her for the first time, I was a huge ball of mush – which is a very out-of-character feeling for me. But I didn’t hold that against myself; I don’t mind getting starstruck by amazing women I admire. I spoke to her about various things and I’m happy to report that she managed to keep my fangirl bubble intact by being as cool as I’d always imagined her to be.
