Sangeeta Bijlani used to be married to Mohammad Azharuddin. With his biography Azhar coming out soon, Sangeeta has started feeling that she might not be seen in a good light with this movie.
According to a source close to DNA, even though Sangeeta and Azhar haven’t been in touch, her concern got her to call him up and discuss her portrayal in the movie.
She called Azhar and she voiced her apprehensions. And she expressed a desire to watch the film. Since then, they have kept regularly in touch. Azhar informed her that he too hasn’t watched the film and has asked the producers for a trial. But everything is being kept tightly under wraps till the release.
Nargis Fakhri will be seen portraying her role and Azhar will be played by Emraan Hashmi.
