You already know that Shahid Kapoor has a drastically different look for Udta Punjab, but something fun we learned today was that the actor actually met his father-in-law for the first time while dressed up in that look! Shahid, we’re told, was getting into character for Tommy at that point in time, and was therefore dressed the part – long hair, loose rockstar t-shirt, shorts and boots.
What’s even more surprising? According to Shahid’s people, Mira‘s dad was actually quite impressed with the look! Sounds pretty hard to believe, but he apparently told Shahid he likes the attire, which was when he learned Shahid was “absorbing” the character of Tommy.
Shahid’s spokesperson added:
Shahid first met Mira’s father at the Delhi farmhouse when he was in the attire of his look for his forthcoming film. It was great to see Mira’s father reaction on it.
