Shahid Kapoor is currently gung-ho about his upcoming movie, Udta Punjab. As we already know, he plays a tattooed Punjabi rockstar with long coloured hair named Tommy Singh in the flick. Guess how Sasha’s wifey Mira Rajput had reacted when she heard about this character name! Mr. Kapoor told Times of India:
When I told her I am playing a character called Tommy, she said, ‘That is not the name of a guy, it is the name of a dog.’
What’s more, when the actor was asked if his bae calls him Tommy, he revealed that Mira has saved his contact name as Tommy on her phone.
Not really. But Mira has saved my name on her phone as Tommy. So, when I call her, it says: ‘Tommy calling’.
