Kajol picked the desi route for the Mumbaikar Award function where her husband Mr. Ajay Devgan was going to be felicitated with an award. Malini Banerji, Elle‘s Fashion Editor styled Kajol helping her channel some old-world charm with this badla sari from Patine. This sari had the right amount of bling and rustic appeal, making it perfect for the look she was going for. Makeup artist Kapil Bhalla opted for subtle, smokey eyes and nude pink lips for this look. The dewy feel of her makeup made her look extremely natural. I’m also absolutely loving what hairstylist Sangeeta Kumar Hedge did with her hair. It’s definitely giving the whole retro look a needed boost. Keeping her neck bare, she finished her look with earrings from Amrapali and shoes from Jimmy Choo. We have absolutely no complaints with the way this look turned out. I must add that Kajol’s Indian features complement this particular look perfectly.
