Promotions of the movie Do Lafzon Ki Kahani took Kajal Aggarwal all the way to Chandigarh where we spotted her in an unusual outfit at a press meet. Stylist Triporna Majumder chose this Anavila creation and styled it superbly. All of Anavila Misra‘s creations are not run-of-the-mill everyday fashion, but a little more eclectic and earthy, if I may say so. This off-the-beaten track sort of fashion has attracted many stars from the likes of fashionista Sonam Kapoor to bohemian babe Kalki Koechlin and Kajal as well. The colour tones in the entire look move from beige, light beige-brown to dark brown with the only pop of colour coming from the turquoise statement necklace. The poufy shirt sleeves and the wide-legged pants both give out a very retro vibe that I love ( I really should’ve been born in the ’60s or ’70s man!)
Also, we totally loved the fact that Triporna stayed the hell away from dainty stilettos that would be such a misfit for these pants not to mention this entire look. Instead, she opted for chunky brown lace-ups that she matched to the belt. Amazing job, Triporna!
