During the summer, we’re all complaining about the heat – especially when we’re stuck in traffic with no where to move. But how many of us actually spare a thought for the traffic cops, who aren’t even sitting in the comfort of an air conditioned car? These cops are out in the heat every day for hours at a stretch, making sure things run smoothly, but they are barely thanked for their services.
The folks over at Lipton Ice Tea, however, made a ‘cool’ gesture recently when they stopped to thank traffic cops and shared with them a Refreshing Lipton Ice tea. It’s a sweet little video, and it’s nice to see these unsung heroes starring in an ad like this – rather than an on-screen hero.
Next time you’re complaining about the heat, spare a thought for these guys – and make sure to thank them when you’re given the opportunity!
