Oh no! Popular daily soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatien has pissed off a few people in Pakistan and someone has petitioned for its ban. The said ban can happened due to the broadcast of indecent content in Pakistani television (clearly they haven’t watched Game Of Thrones). According to report in The Dawn, as per an official statement released a few days ago, the episode which was on air on the 1st of June had the characters (Raman and Ishita) ‘doing indecent activities,’ which violated the Electronic Media Ordinance 2015. Due to this, the TV channel Urdu 1 which telecasts the show has been given a show-cause notice by the PEMRA (Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority). PEMRA further adds that if the channel fails to provide an answer till June 18, the body will have to take further action.
