Met this girl in the gym after I got back from SA – she's a hard worker and you can tell she really wants to build a body and is motivated. She saw me and asked me how I was. 'Im f*cking exhausted, feel drained and haven't slept' I say with a smile. 'so what are you doing in the gym' she asks. 'Im doing my time' I say. .. I get started and in between sets she comes up to me and asks 'what keeps you going?' So I think for a second and say 'well, I know I don't have the advantage of time on my hands, none of us do- it's silly to think we do. I want to constantly evolve and grow and learn and improve.. So instead of waiting to get working on me tomorrow, or day after I'm here today and now. I'm not listening to my mind telling me I'm tired and I should just sleep, I'm conditioning it to overcome, same with my body- to just push and push and keep on that grind'. . . You just have to decide and make up your mind, to do everything possible to get what you want. . . Took a break from the gym for about six days. Ate clean and continued with my AM cardio, Yoga and Kathak.. (Yes I'm into classical Indian dance lol. I even wear Ghungroos.) Went back to the gym today and god I missed it!! Decided to slay Legs and here's my WOD.. . . 4 GIANT SETS of: Squats Walking Lunges Step Up Lunge (No rest y'all) . 3 SUPERSETS of: Glute Bridge Cable Glute Kickback 3 SUPERSETs of: Deadlifts Hamstring Curl Last set of Leg Extensions to Failure. FitFamiliaaaaa! Greetings from sniffle central, I'm so sick :/ bugs in the air have entered my system and since I have the ears of a 2yr old and no tonsils I am super susceptible to air borne virus's lol. #TMImuch? Haha. Anyway ze point is this, I hate rest days- (true meat head, I admit) so do I train when I'm sick? Why yes I totally do. And by Train I mean = Cardio. I bump it up. Weights have to wait bc it's either train weights during sickness and prolong sickness or rest and do cardio that doesn't directly effect your nervous system and get all better ASAP and then show the weights what's what lol. And goes without saying I been sticking to my foods and not giving in to no 'comfort foods' no sirrrrr #consistency. . Also I'm travelling over the weekend for shoots and would like to survive that trip ha. . And yes, look at that picture! Thought it'd be nice to show y'all the contrast haaaaaaa.
