Katrina Kaif is one of those Bollywood celebrities who’s stayed far away from social media. She once took to Twitter as part of a brand engagement, but otherwise, she hasn’t managed a personal account of her own. Looks like that’s changing, though, and the actress will be maintaining Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts – starting this month!
According to DNA, she will launch herself on social media some time around her birthday, July 16th. This change of heart comes after she’s realised that social media is “one of the most powerful tools” to share her thoughts. She will also be using it to promote her upcoming film, Baar Baar Dekho, but she is mostly joining the platforms to have a connection with her fans.
The best part? The actress plans on managing the accounts herself, not having her managers or digital agency run it for her. Pretty cool!
