Lara Dutta Bhupathi and tennis champion Mahesh Bhupathi were recently in Paris attending a wedding. While her better half, Mahesh kept it classy in a suit paired with a blue shirt and Salvatore Ferragamo belt, Lara opted for a desi look for this event. From what I see, it seems like she’s wearing a floral printed petticoat, paired with a scalloped embroidered choli over which she draped a sheer, embellished sari. What I love about her ensemble is that you can see that floral print through the sheer fabric giving the usual sari a fun/pretty twist. With her hair pulled back neatly in a bun, she accessorised her look with a beige clutch and chandbalis. Even though they sported aesthetically different styles, they complemented each other very well. Both looked a class apart with their straightforward style.
