Kalki Koechlin is not only known for her atypical choices when signing films but also for her distinct taste in fashion. Her style and her choices are a product of who she is and that come across pretty evidently through her aesthetic. We recently spotted her in Pune for the FICCI event wearing a sari from Ritu Kumar in a very unconventional way.
The Benarasi sari in a rani pink shade with traditional motifs was beautiful in itself. But then, the fact that it was worn over beige churidar and a shirt instead of a blouse and petticoat, made it all the more interesting. Brownie points to Kalki for not only being bold about the 9 yard but also carrying this different look effortlessly. With her hair left open, she finished her look with a bindi and gold flats and barely-there makeup.
