Sakshi Malik made our country proud by creating history last week! She got the bronze medal home in the 58 kg category of women’s freestyle wrestling at the Rio Olympics – making her the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics.
Soon after, TOI published an article that was apparently a satirical piece on the male-dominated Indian society. The article may have had its heart in the right place (I hope), but the internet is not impressed at all with the post’s headline on Twitter.
Was that really necessary?
