When you think of Lakmé Fashion Week, you usually envision clothes and celebrities. Whilst this year had all of that in spades, we also freaked out over the cool makeup and hair that the models sported. Here are 11 of our favourites!
When it comes to eyeshadows, we usually sticks to metallics, smoky blacks or neutrals. However, the models convinced us that orange is the new black! Rather than using rust tones all along their lids, the models had a pop of colour only on the inner corners. Their grey and white nail art added to the edginess of the look.
Who knew that gold lips were trendy?! With their uber smoked eyes and gilded lips, the models took bridal couture to a whole new level. Like the models, stick to using the gold only on a certain part of your pout to give it an interesting twist.
Uff that contour! Malaika Arora Khan sizzled the ramp with her highly contoured cheeks and deep, red lips. Her black nail paint went perfectly with the glam outfit.
Taking a cue from the vibrant hues of nature, the models rocked colourful strokes of makeup alongside their eyes. We especially loved the bright pink liner that was inspired by flamingoes.
Insane volume, black pouts, fierce vibes… Ashish Soni‘s show was a goth girl’s dream come true! The sculpted locks ensured that all eyes were on the models as they took over the ramp.
Mark this look for wedding season! Ileana’s super smoked eye was highlighted perfectly with hints of shimmer. The rest of her face was kept neutral to balance those intense eyes.
Graphic liner is a trend that keeps on giving. With silver accents and strategic placements, the models looked futuristic and fabulous.
This look is giving off major cool-girl vibes. The glittery, ruby pouts were the focal point, whilst the disheveled ‘dos kept things fresh and chic. We can’t wait to try this one out!
This makeup definitely isn’t for the faint-hearted! The models sported a generous amount of pink rouge, which extended right up to their temples. The hot pink lipstick matched the blush, whilst the deep blue shadow provided a stark contrast to the entire look.
With specks of glitter and brushed strokes of gold shadow, the models looked ready to party it up! Take a leaf out their books and stick to a clean, dewy complexion when you using glitter.
We had to round up our list with the Begum of Bollywood! To add to her pregnancy glow, the actress’ face was strobed to give her an other-worldly, luminous complexion. Gold shadow, flushed cheeks and glossy lips completed her look.
